What is a virtual book fair?
It’s exactly what it sounds like. The virtual book fair site was inspired by Tara Michener and her desire to have a Virtual Children’s Book Fair. This site was designed to enhance that experience and pave the way for additional themed book fairs.
The best thing about a virtual book fair is, no crowds, no fuss, just books. The fair brings together visitors and authors alike by using social networking and blogs as a means of advertising. A visitors to one authors site, may learn about another author through an article and link to the virtual book fair. It’s a win-win situation for both the author, and the visitor.
VirtualBookFair.net is a new venture, but we are planning some additional book fairs in the near future.
